LAKE WALES -- Mr. Jerry Kirwin of Lake Wales died of heart failure Jan. 13, 2006, at The Groves Center. He was 67.
Born in Scranton, Pa., on June 16, 1938, he came to Lake Wales from Falls Church, Va., in 1996. He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mr. Kirwin is survived by his wife, Mary Carol Kirwin; daughter, Michelle Owens, Dansville, Va.; son, Kevin Kirwin, Fairfax, Va.; one grandchild.
