LAKE WALES--Jerry Edward Goolsby, 64, of St. Petersburg passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007 at his home.

Born November 15, 1943 in Lake Wales, FL; he lived in Lake Wales until 5 years ago when he moved to St. Petersburg. He was the owner of a Pit Stop lounge and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam era, serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of the V.F.W. Lake Wales Post. He loved to camp and fish with his children and loved the outdoors.

Jerry was preceded by his parents, Dolphus R. and Bessie Allene Goolsby; sister, Charlotte Goolsby. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Ann Davis-Goolsby of St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Jerry E. Goolsby Jr. and Kevin R. Goolsby both of Lake Wales; brothers, Adolphus D. Goolsby and James H. Goolsby both of Lake Wales; sister, Aloma Baccamazzi of Brandon; and 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales with Rev. Ed Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
