Jerry Leon Bonewit

Jerry Leon Bonewit, 85, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 22, 1930 in Grant County, Indiana to the late Earl Emmanuel and Chloris (Bond) Bonewit and he has been a resident of this area since 1989 moving here from Pendleton, Indiana. He was a retired factory worker for General Motors and was a member of Impact Church. He was preceded In death by his first wife, Sandra Bonewit and second wife, Wiladine Bonewit; 3 sisters and 2 brothers He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Lea Bradway of Lubbock, TX, Sherry Lynn Jamison, Debra Kay Bonewit and Ruth Ann Altman all of Panama City, FL; friend, Donnie Smith; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Chaplain Donnie Smith officiating. Private interment will be held at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 PM until service time.
