Jerry Wayne Angel, 83

Jerry Wayne Angel of Lake Wales, passed away at Advent Health in Lake Wales on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Born November 30, 1940 in Nashville, TN to the late Robert Oakley and Carrie Mae (Busby) Angel, he and his wife moved to Lake Wales 17 months ago, coming from Tennessee.  He worked as a Machinist for Nashville Machine Company and then Cumberland Machine Company before retiring.  He Loved to watch the Vanderbilt sports teams and to play golf.  Most of all he loved doing things with his grandchildren.  He set up a train station in his living room for them.

He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, and his dog Baylee who passed on January 26, of this year. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Darlene Angel of Lake Wales; daughter Lisa Brown of Murfreesboro, TN; son Michael Angel and his wife Vicki of Riverview, FL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
