Security Guard

FROSTPROOF -- Mr. Jeremiah Porio of Frostproof died of heart failure Saturday (Feb. 18, 2006) at The Groves Center. He was 76.

Born in Cambridge, Mass., on Aug. 10, 1929, he came to Frostproof from Ocklawaha in 1993. He was a security guard for Winterset Condos. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post No. 8 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2420. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1974, and Moose Lodge No. 2391. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Mr. Porio is survived by his former wife, Geraldine Porio.
