Jeannette V. David

Jeannette V. David of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Winter Haven Health and Rehab.

She was born May 15, 1915 in Lewiston, ME to the late Frederic & Mary (Speakman) David; she came here in 1979 from Lewiston, ME. She was a housemother for 20 years at the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she was on the Council of Catholic Women.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Normand David and Paul David. Survivors include her sisters, Rita D. Jean (Gerard) of Wellington, FL and Florence T. Lajoie (Robert) of Winter Haven; nephew, Robert David & Dennis David; niece, Trish Vassello; two great-nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Anthony Bluett officiating.
