Jeanne Marie Horton, 73
Jean Turner- Horton of Lexington, Georgia passed away Monday, December 26, 2016.
She was born May 12, 1943 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Joseph and Mary (Wiggins) Rak. She was a Probation Officer for the State of Georgia. Jean attended the Vesta Baptist Church in Vesta, GA. She was a member of the Police Officers Benevolent Association, she was a USA Archery Instructor, Member of the Lexington Lions Club and enjoyed Stained glass artwork.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sandy Corbin, sister Dorrell Rak, brothers Michael Rak and Bruce Rak.
She is survived by her husband Roger Horton Jr., sons Eric Turner and wife Amber of Kankakee, IL, Steven Kish of MN, sister Sue Rak of Hammond, IN, brothers Guy Rak of Calumet, IN, Joel Rak of Chicago, IL, Noel Rak of Hammond, IN, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Vesta Baptist Church at 35 New Hope Vesta Road, Vesta Georgia 30627.Guestbook
