LAKE WALES--Jean Louwsma of Lake Wales died of pancreatic cancer Saturday, December 02, 2006 at Palm Terrace Hospice in Lakeland. She was 74.

Born July 29, 1932 in Brown City, MI; she came here from Lake Mary in 1973. She was an entrepreneur and attended the First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Louwsma was preceded in death by her husband, Louis “Lou” Louwsma in 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Victoria Flint of Lake Wales; son, Lanny Louwsma of Lake Wales; brother, Jim Schriber of Brown City, MI; sisters, June Brown of Sandusky, MI; Jane Hurd of Sandusky, MI; Helen Louwsma of Imlay City, MI; and grandchild, Whitney Erin Flint.

Private family graveside services will be held. For those who wish, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 16 North 3rd Street, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
