Jay Edward Bittner, 64

Jay Edward Bittner of Lake Wales passed away at his residence in Waters Edge.

He was born November 3, 1958 in Lindenhurst, New York to the late Charles and Marilyn Bittner; he moved to Lake Wales from Colorado Springs, Colorado two years ago. Jay owned a small tractor business in Colorado, worked for 15 years as a Deputy Sheriff, and worked on cruise ships as a diamond consultant. He was well liked, worked with his hands, and lived a simple life.

Jay is survived by his brothers, Skip Bittner and wife Jennifer of Newnan, Georgia, Charles Bittner, Jr. and wife Pauline of Lindenhurst, New York, Ronny Bittner of Lake Wales, and Randy Bittner of Lindenhurst, New York.
