LAKE WALES -- Mr. Jason Matthew Wingate of Lake Wales died Monday (Sept. 4, 2006) at home. The cause of death is pending autopsy results. He was 28.

Born in Eustis on Aug. 22, 1978, he was a longtime resident of Lake Wales. He worked in delivery for Buddy's Home Furnishing. He was a member of New Harvest Worship Center of Lake Wales.

Mr. Wingate is survived by his wife, Jaclyn E. Wingate; daughters, Abbeegail Wingate and Aaliyah, both of Lake Wales; son, Logan Wingate, Lake Wales; father, Bryon K. Stewart, Haines City; mother, Teresa Diane Wingate Stewart, Lake Wales; brother, Bryon R. Stewart, Lake Wales; sister, Ashlee Stewart, Haines City; grandparents, Mattie and Mike "Pop" Fenby, Lake Wales, Mac "Pop" Stewart, Haines City.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lake Wales Cemetery.
