Janie S. Mcduffie

Janie S. McDuffie, 84, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born May 10, 1934 in Sylvester, Georgia to the late Dennard and Lula Olivia (Powell) Shiver and she has been a resident of this area since 1949 moving here from Americus, Georgia. She was retried from Cargill Citrus Plant and was a member of Family Life Church in Frostproof. She loved her church, spending time with her grandchildren and listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McDuffie, and her son, Carl McDuffie. Survivors include her daughters, B.J. Martin and her husband Bob of Winter Haven, Yvonne McKenzie and her husband, Richard of Frostproof; grandson, Justin Jacobs and his wife Amanda of Yulee, Florida; 2 great grandchildren, Sophia and Olivia.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Family Life Church in Frostproof with Bro. James B. Woods and Bro. Andy Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday at the church.
