Janie Elizabeth Brock

Janie E. Brock 71, of Lake Wales, Florida formerly of Fort Payne, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Groves Center.

She was born March 27, 1942 in Albertville, Alabama and has been a resident of Florida for the past 3 years moving here from Fort Payne, Alabama where she spent most of her life. Janie was a Homemaker; she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and loved the outdoors.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Gutierrez of Lake Wales, Becky McBride and her husband Gene of Fort Payne, Alabama; son, LD Brock of Fort Payne, Alabama; sister, Kathleen Stewart of Arkansas; brother, Hubert Henson of Alabama; grandchildren, Dewayne, Larry, Chris, Juan, Tony, Stephanie, Michael, Cammy and Kenny; great grandchildren, Dalton, AJ, Cataleya and Jackson.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held in Alabama.
