Janice Murphy

Janice Murphy 62, of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born April 28, 1951 in Irvine, Kentucky to Blondell and Alma (Marcum) Goosey and has been a resident of this area since 1979. Janice was a retired Agriculture Inspector for USDA, enjoyed shopping, family time with her grandchildren, collecting dolls and quilts; she was a former member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years Timothy L. Murphy, Sr.; Daughter, Tina and husband Charles Roecker of Lake Wales; sons, Jimmy R. Mountain of Lake Wales; Timothy L. and wife Mary Murphy of Winter Haven; Mother, Alma M. Jenkins of Irvine, KY; sisters, Sharon Caldwell of Dayton, Ohio, Ann Fields of Irvine, KY, Teresa Sparks of Irvine, KY, Sue Dethlefsen of Irvine, KY; brother, Dale Goosey of Irvine, KY; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Durham officiating. Interment will be held at the Rolling Hills Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home
