Janice E. Moat

Janice E. Moat of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, August 09, 2009 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born October 22, 1991 in Bartow; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a student of the Lake Wales High School and attended the Golfview Baptist Church & the Lighthouse Baptist Church. She liked horses, football, baseball and camping.

Survivors include her sisters, Lacy Moat of Lake Wales, Nancy Moat of Arizona, Terri Rae Moat of Lake Wales, Julia Sansom of Lake Wales and Sharon Chapman of Lake Wales; brothers, Johnnie Ray Moat of Lake Wales and Daniel Sansom of Lake Wales; father, Terry Ray Moat; mother, Terrie Sansom Chapman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Taylor Smith.

The funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with visitation starting at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
