James Kenneth “Kenny” Wells, Jr., 42

James Kenneth “Kenny” Wells, Jr. of Lakeland passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his residence.

He was born April 13, 1981, in Petersburg, Virginia. Kenny was an auto mechanic and a veteran of the United States Army.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 2 years, Candice Cullimore; daughter, Alyssa Wells; son, Asher Wells; father, James Kenneth Wells, Sr. and wife Terri; mother Suzanne Wells; step-father John Borders and wife Tara; step-daughters, Willow Burroughs, Taylor Burroughs, and Ambryel Smart; step-sons, Jonavyn Cullimore and Jacksyn Cullimore; sister, Brittany Udry and husband Mike; half-sister, Sarah Wamsley and Husband David of Virginia; brother, Robert Borders  and wife Amber; step-sister, Ashley Muñoz and husband Alex; and step-brother, Kenneth Thompson.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
