LAKE WALES--James H. Underwood, 76, of Lake Wales died of heart failure Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.
Born November 25, 1930 in Blount County, AL; he came her from Alabama in 1949. He was a welder and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joanne Underwood of Lake Wales; son, Lonnie Underwood of Lake Wales; brothers, Myrtice Underwood of Crestview; GT Underwood of Ellijay, GA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until service time at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
