James Samson

James R. Jim Samson of River Ranch passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 in Lake Wales.

He moved to River Ranch in 1986 coming from Floyd, New York.
He was a retired Therapy aid for the Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center in New York. He was of Catholic Faith and an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen Samson of River Ranch; his mother Lillian Samson of Port Leydon, New York; daughters Robin Samson of Indian Lake Estates and Tracy Minshell of Valatia, New York; son Kevin Samson of Palm Bay, Florida; Sister Jean Capron of Port Leydon, New York, and brothers Gerald Samson of Chulota, Florida and Samuel Samson of Port Leydon, New York; Granddaughters Brittany Taylor, Ashley Taylor, Deanna Minshell and Autumn Samson: grandson Jared Samson.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Indian Lake Estates United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to be made to the Cornerstone Hospice at 2590 Havendale Blvd NW, Winter Haven - (863) 291-5560.
