JAMES EDWARD MEDLOCK, 54 James Edward “Mad Dog” Medlock of Lake Wales passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Lake Wales Medical Center. He was born August 3, 1962 in Lake Wales and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He enjoyed going to River Ranch with his son, riding 4-wheelers, hunting, camping and riding on his pontoon boat. He loved hanging out in the back yard by the fire with his family and friends and making people laugh. James was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Medlock. Survivors include his son, Colby Medlock of Lake Wales; father, LM Medlock, Jr. of Lake Wales; sisters, Louise Price and her husband, Ted of Lake Wales and Jane Harrison and her husband, Alan of Lake Wales; brother, Dale Medlock and his wife, Gail of Lake Wales; former wife, Susan Sangster Townson; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
