James Leroy Manley, 73

James Leroy Manley of Lake Wales passed away Monday, June 11, 2024 at his residence.

He was born June 26, 1951 in Taft, Florida to the late Leroy and Geneva Manley. James was a truck driver and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved music and played the guitar in a band in the 70’s. His nickname was Johnny Cash.

James is survived by his significant other of 24 years, Sherry Bennett; daughter, Shannon Manley of Orlando; sons, Austin Manley (Jessica) of Reagan, Tennessee and Dusty Manley of Tennessee; sister, Sherry Manley of Tennessee; and three grandchildren.
