LAKE WALES--James William Lantz, 85, of Lake Wales died Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

Born August 7, 1921 in Morgontown, WV; he came to the area in 1985 from Morgontown, WV. He was a manager at Western Union and a member of Wayside Baptist Church. He served in the US Army Air Corps WWII.

Mr. Lantz was preceded in death by his son, James William Lantz, Jr. Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Lantz; daughter, Judy K. Lantz; brother, Fred L. Lantz; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
