James Horton Kelley, 78

James Horton Kelley of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

He was born August 15, 1944 in Panama City to the late Cecil and Lou Ella Kelley; he moved to Lake Wales from Melbourne in 2014. James was a computer engineer for General Electric and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved fishing, hunting, and skeet shooting.

James is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Kelley; son, James H. Kelley, Jr. and wife Linda of Palmer, Alaska; sister, Dorothy Lou Kelley Patrick of Melbourne; and brother, Cecil B. Kelley, Jr. and wife Nina of South Carolina.
