James Carl Johnson, 81

James Carl Johnson of Lake Wales passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Good Shephard Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born July 3, 1939 in Leatherwood, Kentucky to the late John and Cledith Johnson; he moved to Lake Wales from London, Kentucky in 1998. James was a retired construction supervisor and was of the Baptist faith.

James was proceeded in death by his wife, Wilma Johnson in 2013; brother, Jack Johnson; and grandchild, Ricky Hodge. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Crim and husband James of Indian Lake Estates, Kathy Bowling of Berea, Kentucky, and Karen Rogers and husband Alton of Berea, Kentucky; son, Phillip Todd Johnson of Crystal Lake; brothers, Bill Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at a later date in Kentucky.
