James "Jim" Turner

James “Jim” Ewell Turner, 85
Jim Turner of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 20, 1934 in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late Vie and Adabell (Jordan) Turner. He has been a resident of the area for 62 years coming from Winter Haven, Florida. Jim was a retired Army veteran serving in Viet Nam and also a retired School Teacher. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by daughter Tammy, Brother Bill and Gene Turner and sister Frances.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Patti Turner, daughters Debra Ann Diorio of Champions Gate, FL, Teri Turner of Winter Haven, FL, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Private family service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery.
