JAMES  ANTHONY  “JIM”  BOGUS,  77

James Anthony “Jim” Bogus of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Grace Health Care.

He was born May 1, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Anthony & Anita Bogus; he came here from Cypress, CA in 1985. He was a retired pipe fitter, an active member and elder of the Lake Wales Lutheran Church and served in the U.S. Army. He liked scuba diving, sky diving, the ocean and transporting cars for Sorensen and Schade Chevrolet. He was a true car guy.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne M. Bogus. Survivors include his daughters, Nannette Martin (Vince) of Lake Wales and Angi Morehead (Chris) of Babson Park; sisters, Maryanne “Cookie” Trowbridge (Ron) of Riverside, CA and Nancy Zachary of Wilmington, CA; and three grandchildren.
