James F. "Jim" Hollingsworth

James F. "Jim" Hollingsworth of Lake Wales passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Tampa General Hospital.

He was born November 4, 1943 in Winter Haven to the late James Lee & Grace Elizabeth Cox Hollingsworth; he was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a commercial fisherman for 30 years and for the last 7 years was the maintenance supervisor at College Park in Lake Wales. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was a member of the Lake Wales V.F.W. and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda; son, Jimmy Hollingsworth; brother, Hal Hollingsworth and wife, Louise of Lake Wales; nieces and nephews, Eric Hollingsworth, Andy Hollingsworth, Tracy Hadden & her two sons, Josh & Aaron, Denise Russ and Bobby Barnhorst.

There will be a private memorial service held at the family's residence.
