James Henry Harper, 77

James (Jim) Henry Harper of Lake Wales passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, June 6, 2021.

He was born June 27, 1943, in Kissimmee, Florida to the late Lovejoy and Caroline Othella (Webb) Harper and he has been a lifelong resident of this area.

Jim was a retired Traffic Regulations Officer for the Florida Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Lake Wales Moose Lodge and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his niece, Tonya Simpson; nephew, Tom Harper; several cousins and many great friends.

Memorial service will be held 5:30 PM Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Williams officiating.
