James K Hadden, Sr.

James K. Hadden, Sr. 77, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.

He was born August 20, 1944, in Lyons, Georgia to the late Everett McElvin and Sallie Mae (Mills) Hadden and he has been resident of this area since 1948 coming here from Lyons, Georgia. He was The Owner of Ken’s Auto Shoppe and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. James loved hunting and Fishing.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Jo Ann Hadden in 2020; Brother, John M. Hadden and Larry K. Hadden; sister, Gladys M. Owen.

Survivors include his sons, James Hadden (Penny) of Winter Haven; Joseph K. Hadden of Frostproof, Christopher J. Hadden of Sebring; sisters, Ruthie Blasio (Frank) of Lake Wales, Deborah Marlow of Frostproof, Johnnie Bradshaw of Brevard, NC; brother, Ronnie Hadden of Frostproof; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2022, with the Funeral Service at 11:00 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof with Pastor Sam Haag and Randy White officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
