James Greenway

July 12, 1929 — February 21, 2016

James Greenway, 86 passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his residence.

He was born July 12, 1929 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Thomas and Mamie (Bell) Greenway. He has been a resident of the area since 1951 coming from Summertown, Georgia. James was a Lineman for GTE and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Avon Park and Lake Wales.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Tom, Earl, Billy Greenway and son James Harry Greenway Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Dolores Greenway, daughter Denice G. Harden and husband Johnnie of Frostproof, FL, sisters Helen Burhans and husband Chris of Winter Haven, FL, Louise McKenzie of Babson Park, FL, brother Ed Greenway of Swainsboro, GA, 1 grandchild Cody Harden and wife Jackie.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall in Lake Wales at 1750 11th St.
