James Edward Ferrell

James Edward Ferrell of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his residence.

He was born February 24, 1929 in Baker County, GA to the late Myran and Mattie Lou (Watson) Ferrell; he was the owner/operator of Jim's Cleaning Service and a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Ferrell and a daughter, Ginger Curry. Survivors include his sons, Mike Ferrell (Paula) of Lake Wales and Rick Ferrell of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; son-in-law, Ed Curry of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Dorothy Fort of Bushnell, Jeanine King of Bushnell, Mildred Bedgood of Lakeland and Darlene Ferrell of Bushnell; four grandchildren, Sean Curry (Michelle), Shanna Langieri (Chris), Deanna Jones (Justin) and Kelly Ferrell; and one great-grandchild, Ryan.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales.
