James Edward Eubanks, Jr.

Mr. James Edward Eubanks Jr. of Frostproof, Florida passed from this life on September 20, 2022, at the age of 80. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jackie Eubanks, Daughter Sandra and husband Mike, Son Gary and wife Darlene, Son Jeff and wife Carey, Son Terry and partner Cassie, Brother Robert and wife Shirley, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved ones.

He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and served 12 years as a Staff Sergeant. He raised and raced greyhounds during which time he used his creativity to invent and build various devices that improved industry standards. He thoroughly enjoyed life and took pride in creating country music, some that even made it to the radio! He had a passion for making homemade wine, tinkering with projects in his shop, indulging in his wife’s homemade baked goods, and never missing a Saturday garage sale, or church on Sunday. James was a member of First Christian Church of Frostproof.

His services will be held at First Christian Church of Frostproof (2241 CR 630 West) on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00 am, Internment to follow at Eden Cemetery.
