LAKE WALES--J. Kenneth “Ken” Ellis 68 , of Lake Wales, Fl. died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Heart of Florida Hospital Davenport.

Born March 15, 1939 in Old Hickory, Tenn. He has been a resident of Lake Wales since 1991 coming from Orlando. He was a member of the Protestant faith, and enjoyed taking care of his yard.

Survivors include his wife Joan Ellis of Lake Wales, Fl. Daughters Rachael Ellis of Orlando, Fl., Lisa Aguilar of Lake Wales, Fl., Doreen Calvi of Lake Wales, Fl., Jennifer Balance of Lake Wales, Fl., Son Mike Ellis of Orlando, Fl., Brothers Ray Ellis of Greenbrair, Tenn., Wayne Ellis and Life Partner Ken Ferguson of Flint Mi., Sister Evelyn Martin of Greenbrair, Tenn. And four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until service time at 3:00pm, Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, Fl. In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the SPCA at 5850 Brannen Road South Lakeland, Fl. 33813.
