James D. “Jim” Rudd Jr of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring.
He was born February 14, 1944 in Brevard, North Carolina to the late James D. and Betty (Bracken) Rudd. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired Service Tech for Sinclair Systems Inc. Jim loved hunting and fishing and he was of the Baptist faith. Jim was a veteran in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his brother Jerry Rudd.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Sandra A. Rudd, daughters Melanie Rudd of Cleveland, TN, Stacey Rudd Albert of Frostproof, sons Greg Sizemore and wife Stephanie of Winter Haven, FL, Duane Rudd of Lake Wales, FL, 6 grandchildren Brittany, Brandon, Lindsey, Matthew, Emily, and Jonathan and 4 great grandchildren Miguel, Cruz, Bella and Adrian and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 21, 2019 until service time at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Frostproof with brother-in-laws Rev. Darrol Hood and Tim Hood Officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
