James Larry Denby

James “Bones” Denby of Lake Placid, Florida passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Florida Hospital Lake Placid.

He was born January 31, 1956 in Avon Park, Florida to the late James H. and Dorothy (Knowles) Denby. He had only been a resident for a few months coming from Babson Park, Florida. He was a Citrus Foreman for Eagle Ranch and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years Brenda Denby of Lake Placid, FL, sons Troy Denby and wife Bobbi of Frostproof, FL, James Denby of Sebring, FL, step daughters Jennifer Crunkleton of Avon Park, FL, Michelle Sims of Riverview, FL, Cybil Lightsey and husband Clifford of Frostproof, FL, step son Aaron Sims of Lake Wales, FL, sister Belinda Lanier of Frostproof, FL, brother Michael Denby of Frostproof, FL and 4 grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Frostproof with Rev. David Durham officiating.
