James Earl Crowley

James Earl Crowley, 88

James Earl Crowley of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Lake Wales Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 19, 1936 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Hershel and Mable Crowley. James was a retired electrical engineer and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed going golfing, playing cards, and hunting. James would attend bowling leagues and loved to cruise, dance, and sing. He would always be a helping hand to his friends and neighbors.

James is survived by his wife of 65 years, Peggy Ann Crowley; son, Steve Crowley and wife Lisa of Michigan; daughters, Cathy Brighton and husband Ron of Michigan, Rochelle Duryea of Port Saint Lucie; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
