James R. “Jimmy” Cordello of Indian Lake Estates died of heart failure Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at his residence. He was 70.
Born November 05, 1936 in Chicago, IL; he moved here from Roselle, IL in 1986. He was the retired owner of Jimmy’s Deli and of the Catholic faith. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Medina Shriners and the Lions Club of Morton Grove, IL. He was also a past director of Chicago Metropolitan Bowlers Association. He was on the Indian Lake Estates Board of Directors and the Men’s Golf Association at the Indian Lake Estates Golf and Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Sara-Jo Cordello of Indian Lake Estates; daughter, Jacqueline Hoey of Madison, WI; sons, James Cordello of Scottsdale, AZ; John Cordello of St. Charles, IL; Richard Fuist of Winter Haven; Christopher Fuist of Addison, IL; sisters, Arlene Brown of Wylie, TX; Judy Terracine of Brea, CA and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until the service begins at 7:00 PM, Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Indian Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Way officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
