FROSTPROOF--James Edward “Jim” Boshears, 74, of Frostproof died Tuesday, July 03, 2007 at his residence.

Born November 18, 1932 in Earle, Arkansas; he came here from West Memphis, Tennessee in 1975. He was the former owner of P&J Recreation. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Lake Wales V.F.W.; he enjoyed fishing and being with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Boshears of Frostproof; daughter, Vanita Ann Wesensten of Lockport, Illinois; step-daughters; Patricia Easton of Frostproof; Margaret T. Conner of Seattle, Washington; sons, Danny E. Boshears of Joliet, Illinois; Ronnie L. Boshears of Lockport, Illinois; step-son, Dave Conner of Frostproof; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private family memorial services will be held.
