Jaime Lopez

Jaime Lopez of Lake Wales passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at his residence.

Jaime was born May 12, 1928 in Areciveo, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro Torres Gonzalez and Estanisla Torres- Molina- Lopez and has been a resident of Lake Wales for 10 years moving here from New York.

He was a retired carpenter for Ascot, a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army and was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Anita Lopez of Lake Wales; son, Harry Lopez of Texas; sister, Isabelle Negron of Lakeland; brother, Angel Torres of Puerto Rico, Juan Rivera; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; companion, Evelyn Colon

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
