LAKE WALES--Jackie K. Christopher of Lake Wales died of pneumonia Wednesday, Dec. 06, 2006 in Lake Wales. He was 70.
Born Jan. 14, 1936 in Dade County, FL; he has been a lifelong resident of this area. He was the owner/operator of Christopher Tile. He enjoyed fishing and telling stories.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn B. Christopher. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Cantrill of Waverly; son, Roy Jackson of Sandersville, GA; brothers, Charles Christopher of Austin, TX; James Christopher of Panama City, FL; Robert Christopher of The Villages, FL; sister, Mary L. Canon of Eustice, FL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 07, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, Dec. 08, 2006 at the funeral home.
