Jack E Wymer, Jr.

October 3, 1975 — August 26, 2021

Jack grew up in Florida with his mother, Rafaela and his sisters, Lily and Lucy. He learned to love hard work and the importance of caring for family and friends. A year after high school, he joined the Navy and crossed the country to his new home port in San Diego. He ended his 19 years of service with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was particularly honored to pilot an LCU for the USS Tarawa. Jack met his beloved wife, Sayda while they were both serving onboard the USS Milius and they were married shortly afterward in Fort Worth, Texas. They were blessed with two sons in their first three years of marriage, Joseph and Jaden. Family came first for Jack. He loved the beautiful outdoors in Southern California, enjoying the beach and ocean views with Sayda and his sons. He loved to surprise his family with unexpected presents: coffee for Sayda, art supplies for Joseph, a building set for Jaden, food, and so many other thoughtful gifts. He loved family movie nights. After Joseph went to college, he and Jaden enjoyed large meals and movies together. He loved spending time with his dog Kaiser. Jack loved making and building things with his hands. He enjoyed crafting paddles and pens out of wood, working on the car with Joseph and doing home improvement projects in the house and yard with Jaden. Jack cared deeply about other people. He wanted the best for his family and everyone he met. He welcomed everyone and was willing to sacrifice for other people, making friends with all his neighbors. He was eager to help and was very generous. He always invited his kids to join him in his projects. He was always checking on other people to make sure they were doing OK. He was a great listener and accepted other people for who they were. Jack didn't understand how much he mattered to those around him. The love he gave to others so freely, he did not give to himself. He is survived by his wife Sayda, his sons Joseph and Jaden, his mother Rafaela Eads and his step-father Horace, his sisters Lily Wilson and her husband William and Lucy Lindstamer and her husband Luke.
