Jack Pitt, 91

Jack Pitt of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

He was born July 20, 1931 in White House, Tennessee to the late Joe and Annie Pitt; he moved to Lake Wales from Nashville, Tennessee in June of 1971. Jack was a retired night plant supervisor for Citrus World and a veteran of the United States Army who served from 1949 until 1953. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lake Wales and the Lake Wales Kiwanis Club.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Louise Glover Pitt in November of 2021. He is survived by his sons, Jack Pitt of Toronto, Canada, and Andrew Pitt of Lake Wales; sister, Anna Faye Hudgins of White House, Tennessee; and one grandchild.
