Jack Witten Cecil, 92

Jack Cecil of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at his residence.

He was born August 31, 1927 in Tazewell, Virginia to the late Samuel and Vernon Cecil. He was the president of Beavers and Cecil Contractors. Jack was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joanne W. Cecil; daughter, Candace Spessard (Rob) of St. Johns, Georgia; sons, Jack Cecil, Jr. (Patty Gail) of Tazewell, Virginia, and Andrew Cecil (Vicki) of Tazewell, Virginia; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
