Ivan Earl Spurlock, 80

Ivan Earl Spurlock of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his residence.

He was born July 4, 1940 in Frostproof to the late Murray and Inez Spurlock. Ivan was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. He was an excellent storyteller who loved football but loved his family most of all.

Ivan was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Spurlock; sisters; and brothers. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Spurlock; sons, David Spurlock and wife Michele of Virginia, and Michael Spurlock and wife Teresa of Frostproof; grandchildren, Breanna Salazar and husband Nick, Justin Spurlock, Jarod Spurlock, Sean Spurlock and companion Isabella, and Jason Spurlock; great-grandchildren, Jericho, Noah, Caleb, and Rebekah; and many family members and friends.

A meet and greet will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
