Irene Wren

Irene Wren of Lake Wales passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City. She was born September 1, 1949 to the late Theodore Martin & Emma Mary (Pretty) Kowalski; she came here 2 years ago from Milan, MI. She was an executive assistant for Health Management Associates and of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary in Ypsilanti, MI and enjoyed flower gardening and watching birds in her yard.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wren in 2005. Survivors include her fiancé, Donnie Venters of Lake Wales; two sisters, Linda Beaudette of Ypsilanti, MI and Vicki Michael of Pinckney, MI; and a brother, Ted Kowalski of Ypsilanti, MI.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
