Irene P. Massey of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at Lake Wales Medical Center.
She was born October 12, 1928 in Lacoochee, Florida to the late Charles A. and Josephine (Stafford) Palmer. She was a Food service supervisor for Lake Wales Medical Center. She was a member of Impact Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband George W. Massey, grandchild Jason Massey, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Harold J. Massey (Rhonda), Hoyt W. Massey (Sheila), Huston L. Massey (Cathy), Clara Rose of Ft. Myers, FL, brother James L. Palmer (Barbara) of Statesboro, GA, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 and Funeral service 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Lake Wales Cemetery.
