Irene Cassimore, 73

Irene Cassimore of Frostproof passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at AdventHealth Sebring.

She was born September 23, 1948 in Dover, New Jersey to the late William and Clara Riker; she was a winter resident of Frostproof for 10 years and permanently moved from Erin, New York in September of 2021. Irene was a retired machine operator and a homemaker later in her life. She was a cancer survivor and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed being on the farm and loved her family and her cat Rascal dearly.

Irene was preceded in death by her son, Richard Cassimore, Jr.; and brothers, Dennis Riker and Fritzie Cederborg. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard “Butch” Cassimore; daughters, Melinda Cassimore of Elmira, New York, Jennifer Evans and husband Ronald of Corning, New York; sisters, Brenda Betholomany, and Christine Morseman; and brothers, James Cederborg, and Greg Cederborg; her 4 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
