Inez G Steedley

Inez G. Steedley, 71 of Frostproof passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile Alabama.

She was born January 8, 1943 in Crenshaw, Alabama to the late Arnold and Cassie (Wells) Gay and has been a resident of the area since 1967 coming from Jay, Florida. She was a citrus grader for Ben Hill Griffin, Inc. She enjoyed fishing and working with her flowers. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clentis Turman.

Survivors include her daughters Angie M. Carnley and husband Junior of Atmore, AL, Lisa Sherod of GA, Theresa Messer and husband Greg of Atmore, AL, sons DeWayne Turman, Jr and wife Joanie of Frostproof, FL, Michael A. Turman and wife Sissy of Elba, AL, brothers Ben Gay of Baker, FL, Houston Gay of GA, Edward Gay of Jay, FL, sisters Linzie Strickland and husband Dykes of Jay, FL, Shirley Lail of Pace, FL, 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 3, 2014 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Kelly Galati officiating. Family will receive friends at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery.
