Ida Bell Lassiter

Ida Bell Lassiter of Frostproof passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at The Oaks of Avon.
She was born May 1, 1922 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Demack & Daisie Mae Manzella; she came here in 1946 from Niceville, FL. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert W. Lassiter and a son, Kenneth Wayne Lassiter. Survivors include her daughters, Susan Jeanette Bennett of Avon Park and Joann Batts of Wyoming; 7 grandchildren, including, Kenneth Lassiter; and many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
