Hugh E. Woods

Hugh E. Woods of Lake Wales passed away May 30, 2015 at Sabal Palms of Largo.

He was born August 13, 1932 in Blount County, AL to the late James Ollie & Ruby Woods; and he has been a resident of Lake Wales for 14 years. He was the retired CEO of World Omni Financial Corp., a member of First Baptist Church in Lake Wales and a veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Hugh was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Peggy F. Woods. Survivors include his children, Linda Martin of Birmingham, AL, Michael Woods and wife, Liz of Birmingham, AL, Gregory Woods and wife, Chris of Fort Lauderdale and Judy Herring and husband, Robert of Clearwater; 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and expecting 3 more great-grandchildren.

Private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
