Hubert Glenn Halsne, 85
Hubert G. Halsne of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Rochelle, Illinois to the late Clarence E. and Mildred (Phillips) Halsne. He was an IBEW Instructor. He taught IBEW Apprentice training, high school electronics, and college courses. He refereed football and basketball for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Leona Halsne, daughter Debra Tang and husband Michael of Lake Wales, FL, son Glenn Halsne and wife Sarah of Magnolia, IL, sister Nancy Dominguez of AZ, brother James Halsne of CA, 10 grandchildren Ashley Halsne, Cody Halsne, Morgon Corbel, Connor Corbel, Cassidy Corbel, Gracie Corbel, Gavin Halsne, Trevor Halsne, Gemma Halsne, Jace Halsne and 1 great grandchild Melanie.
Memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
