LAKE WALES--Howard Dale Gerlofs, 81 of Lake Wales died of heart failure Monday, June 18, 2007 at his residence.
Born November 12, 1925 in Kalamazoo, Michigan; coming from Michigan 30 years ago. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the High Point Church in Lake Wales.
Mr. Gerlofs was preceded in death by his son, Mickey Gerlofs. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Barbara Jean Gerlofs of Lake Wales; sons, Jim Gerlofs of Lake Wales; Don Gerlofs of Farmington Hills, MI; brother, Clayton Gerlofs of Kalamazoo, MI; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations to High Point Church Building Fund.
